BANYUWANGI TOUR ( BROMO – IJEN CRATER / KAWAH IJEN – SUKAMADE – GREEN BAY TOUR )

Banyuwangi is the regency in the east of java province, there are 3 national park in Banyuwangi Baluran National Park, Alaspurwo national park and merubetiri national park.

Banyuwangi has some beautiful tourist destination, there are :

Turtle at Sukamade

-          Kawah ijen ( ijen crater ) is the crater of ijen volcano, where you can see, beautiful green tosca lake of the crater, its known as one of the largest acid lake in the world. On the way to Ijen Crater you can see sulfur miners carring sulfur block and also raung volcano, green vegetation and you can hear bird sing.

-          Sukamade is the beach on the south of Banyuwangi regency, where everynight turtle from the ocean come to lay their egg in this beach. To see the turtle you must stay in the dark without light, and don’t speak , wait until the ranger ask to see the turle lay their egg.

-          Green bay is located in Merubetiri National Park, near to Sukamade. A small bay with green and clear water surrounded by green forest . to reach this bay you must walk 30 minutes

Tour itinerary

Day 1 ( D )

-          Meeting service in the airport / Surabaya, direct to Bromo from probolinggo. Stay in hotel around cemara lawang ( village near Bromo )

-          Dinner

Day 2 ( B, L, D )

-          Get on jeep, 4WD to penanjakan ( 2.700 m ). From penanjakan you can see beautiful colour of  sky before the sunrise, Bromo Volcano , Bromo seasand, highest volcno in java ( Semeru Volcano )

-          After sunrise, proceed to bromo seasand then the jeep will park in the parking area. Hiking 25 minuts or ride horse IDR 100.000 / horse. On the way you will see Hinduism temple ( poten ), Batok Volcano. Afterthat take a 250 stairs to see bromo crater.

-          Go down, go back to hotel

-          Breakfast, check out to Banyuwangi its taken 6,5 hours

-          Lunch at local restaurant in Situbondo white sand beach .

-          Check in at hotel in Banyuwangi

-          Dinner and free program

Day 3 ( B, L , D )

-          Start in the early morning by trooper 4WD to paltuding, its taken 1,5 hours drive

-          Hiking ijen volcano, 1,5 hours

-          Enjoy the beautiful scenery of ijen crater, ijen landscape, go down to paltuding and come back to hotel.

-          Breakfast, check out. Direct to Merubetiri national park ( Sukamade ), its taken 4,5 hours drive.

-          Lunch enroute

-          Check in at Sukamade resort, dinner .

-          At 20:00, get instruction from sukamade ranger. Afterthat go to Sukamade beach ( 600 m )

-          Before arrive on the beach, the light must turn off, than wait in the dark night, while the ranger looking for the turtle.

-          See the turle lay their egg.

-          Come back to hotel and rest.

Day 4  (B , L)

-          Breakfast and check out, direct to green bay

-          Walk 30 minutes to green bay, enjoy the beautiful of green and clear water ( swimming , sun bathing )

-          Come back to Banyuwangi, drop to Ketapang Hourbour ( fery to Bali) or come back to Surabaya
